Also the beds that are available don't meet the demand. Programs want to take those that want to be there to be successful rather than give a bed away to a person who is coerced, and likely to break rules, and wreak havoc by sneaking in contraband, and its negative to those who want the help that are there. You need to change people places and things. In my state, DE there are 200 beds for drug/alcohol, the need for beds is 4000. Because a person needs to want the help. Also the beds that are available don’t meet the demand.
