Obama is not soft on crime, he solidly supports it! He wants to take away self-protection guns from bedstands and shopkeepers. Clearly he is totally pro-criminal. He backed legislation which would have taken away even shotguns from hunters. The Obama Nannyism State will be pure torture for everyone but the criminals and top Socialists. Regards, Larry.

What RIGHT do they have to do that. You see they just borrow and spend then when the democrats get and GET THINGS STRAIGHT BY RAISING SOMEBODY’S TAXES. YOU COMPLAIN.

WHAT HAPPENED TO ACCOUNTABILITY. THE RICH GOT RICHER, OFF THE POOR AND YOU DON’T WANT THEM TO PAY A PERCENTAGE OF OVER 250K AND BECAUSE OF THE POLICIES THAT FAVORED THEM………….. THEM…………… THEY SHOULDN’T BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

THAT IS JUST BLATANTLY HYPOCRITICAL.

Ummm,

I went to obama.com

I was asked for my name, email, and zip code before I was able to see anything. Then I was asked to give a donation to support the ticket. That is ALL that is there. No policy is stated. That is elsewhere.

So I ask, where do you get your information?

I have no problem with rehabilitating drug dealers. I know one who turned in $1,236,000 he made in drug dealing while he was in therapy, and later became a drug abuse counselor. His therapy was for addiction to alcohol which seems to escape the controlled substance list for some reason.

The penalties for crack should be the same as for cocaine, at least for the poor suckers who use the stuff. Dealers, well, unless they want rehabilitation, I think a nice exile with a 20 year supply of their drug of choice and enough tools and seeds to feed themselves is appropriate.

But I don’t think I agree with Obama on either of those issues. I have looked over the platform planks and I don’t see where you rerached your conclusions.

Scientists are currently working on a vaccine that binds Nicotine to larger particles that can’t be attached to the receptors in the brain. This way when a smoker whos had the vaccine smokes a cigarette it does nothing for them so in theory they’ll quit. I just read about this in the LA Times online paper. Sounds really cool as I am a smoker who is trying for the umteenth time to quit. It is a serious addiction, one that is extremely hard to break. I am only on day 2 cigarette free.

Maybe you haven’t figured this one out yet, but here goes: THE WAR ON DRUGS HAS BEEN A COLOSSAL FAILURE because of the way in which drugs have been criminalized. You don’t get people off drugs and out of drug dealing by putting them in jail for a few months or a few years. YOU DO IT BY REHABILITATING THEM SO THEY WON’T DO IT AGAIN!!!!!

If you have a brain, try using it! It comes in handy once in awhile.

That’s a hard monkey to get off your back, but not sure about the FEDS getting more power to scope you out. I wonder about his program to bring in prescription drugs from out of the country. There’s a center in Croatia, then Germany and Japan, but I sure have a problem if he is talking about China.

Like I said the cane monkey is pretty serious, it’s easy to make the money, but it ruins so many lifes. I could see helping the ones on the stuff and right now there are already programs that do that. First time on sentence if they complete the rehab, as far as the sellers I believe the jail time helps them better, but just an opinion. Take care.

It’s all about money. Keeping people addicted, and sick ensures that the higher ups stay on top.

reduce penalties for crack..one of the worst drugs, i hadn’t heard that, but that is soo wrong. They already do give dealers rehab in some special circumstances it happened to someone in my area.
